INTERFACE BOARD REPLACEMENT
The rear side of the printer contains an empty slot for an optional interface board, as well as existing built-in
connectors for three standard interfaces (High speed RS-232-C, IEEE1284 and USB). This section covers the
replacement of the optional interface board ONLY.
1. Remove the pan head screws marked (1) to remove any interface slot cover plate, or existing interface
board.
2. Remove the cover plate or interface board and insert the replacement board into the slot, making sure that
the connectors at the end of the card are snugly slotted into the receptacle connectors on the main PCB.

CAUTION: OPENING THE REAR HOUSING COVERS WITH INTERFACE CARDS
INSTALLED WILL RESULT IN COMPONENT DAMAGE. ALWAYS REMOVE FIRST.
